A large pair of silver enameled Fibulas -Tiznit Morocco 19th century - The  pair are made of high grade silver and are cut engraved, enameled and set with red glass rhinestones. Decorated with yellow and green enamel. On one of the pair there are still two of the original silver coins.   dimensions: 21*13 cm weight: 306 grams * A fibula of this weight and workmanship is a clear indication of the wearers social status. Only the wealthier Moroccan woman would have such a decorated pair. * The inverted triangle of the adornment reflects a woman's form.
