A partially gilded silver ” necklace / head piece - Ottoman palestine 1900 - The silver piece is comprised of a silver chain with a central medallion set with red and green beads. Fine filigree tassels hang from the chain with Ottoman coins dangling at the bottom.  length: 35 cm  weight: 79 grams  * A piece like this was worn on the side of the woman's head piece and was probably given to her as part of her dowry.
