A large and impressive parcel gilt silver hair heart pendant/ hair ornament (Asyk)- Turkestan, Teke-1880-1900 - The piece is comprised of a necklace formed by lozenge and tubular pendants. Silver elements soldered onto the lozenge pendants. The heart ornament is adorned with fine scroll work , zigzag filigree on its borders and Tumar motif. Upward triangle with horn motifs on the top. A large coral is set in the center. Corals are set throughout the whole piece. the piece is cut, engraved, soldered, gilded,   dimensions : 15*55 cm   pendants dimensions: 28*15 cm weight: 550 grams * In Turkestan just as in Europe, Hearts were to be a show of eternal love.
