A early silver wire ”Meil”- Torah mantle -Ottoman province 18th/19th century - The Torah mantle is formed from Bordeaux  velvet and finely adorned with metallic half sphere beads stitched into the velvet with leather straps.  Silver wire ribbon work decorates the upper portion of the mantle as well as the opening. A silver wire star of David ornament ( added later) stitched onto the back. signs of age.  dimensions: 92*29 cm
