Dr. Ori Beit Or was born in 1934 an artist, writer and researcher.
Was the first director of the Sapir College of the Negev,
Participated in group exhibitions: Exhibition of kibbutz artists in Switzerland, Belgium, Panama and more (1960); Exhibition of Israeli Artists at the Exhibition Gardens, Negev Artists at the Spring Exhibition (1979); And more. He has exhibited single exhibitions in many galleries across the country: the kibbutz gallery, Tel Aviv team, Tel Aviv tower gallery, Yad Livnim Tel Aviv, Kfar Saba cultural center, Baumar cultural center, Kay College gallery in Be'er Sheva, Raanana lake gallery, gallery The Tel Aviv Performing Arts Center, the Jerusalem Theater, the Teacher Art Gallery in the Tel Aviv Teacher House, Art Gallery, Kfar Saba (2019) and more. Orie-Or was defined by curators and art critics as a multidisciplinary artist who responds to his surroundings and political and social events, and is true to his unique ideas. In addition to the classic paint and paintbrush, he also incorporates recycled materials, photographs, texts, fabrics, and adhesives, resulting in all works that do not fall under any customary or literal definition of art.
