LORENZO ASCASIBAR (Guipúzcoa, 1930-Vitoria, 2022) - ‘Young man covering himself from the cold’.. Lorenzo Ascasibar is considered the last representative of the school of great classical Basque sculptors. In 1949 he won first prize in the competition for new artists from Gipuzkoa organised by the Diputación de Guipúzcoa. It has a foundry stamp. Signed: L.
