Travel Poster Mannheim University City Germany. Original vintage travel poster for Mannheim Germany featuring a stylised illustration of the city from above with views of the historic buildings, trees and roads including the Mannheim Palace, Jesuit Church and Mannheim Water Tower with boats on river Rhine set against a green and pink shaded background. The University City of Mannheim is located in Baden-Wurttemberg and is a member of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network and is known for significant inventions including draisine railway vehicle (1817), the Benz motor car (1886), and first rocket plane (1929). Excellent condition. Country of issue: Germany, designer: W. Luisa, size (cm): 84x59, year of printing: 1960s.
