Advertising Poster White Cycles Bicycle Dog Lady Cyclist
Original antique advertising poster for The White Cycles White Sewing Machine Cie London et Paris featuring a great image of a smiling young lady wearing a colourful dress and riding a bicycle with a basket of eggs on the handlebar and a little white dog on a red leash running alongside her bike on the country road with green trees in the background, the stylised title text above and company name in a white banner below. The White Sewing Machine Company was founded in 1858 in Templeton Massachusetts America; its London branch was located at 48 Holborn Viaduct and Paris branch at 34 Rue Truffaut. Published by Hill, Siffken & Co in London. Poor condition, large paper losses on image, staining, tears, creasing.
