Art Poster Set Exhibition Paintings Tseng Ying Pang Brazil - Set of 7 original vintage art related posters and prints. 1. Coral And Blue by Tseng Ying Pang (Chinese, b. Tokyo, Japan 1916-1977), featuring an image of coral red blooming tree branches and green and white grass on a blue background. Good condition, creasing, pinholes, staining, paper loss in top left corner. Country of issue: USA, designer: Tseng Ying Pang, size (cm): 51x38, year of printing: 1971; 2. Lampiao No Inferno by Jo Oliveira (b.1944), a Brazilian journalist and illustrator. The print depicts Captain Virgulino Ferreira da Silva (1897-1938), better known as Lampiao, with possibly Maria Bonita riding on horseback with a split image of the sun and the moon with angels and demons on either side. Lampiao was a traditional bandit from the Cangaco band, who were heavily armed and operated either on horseback or on foot. The band attacked small towns and farms, took hostages for ransom, extorted money by threats of violence, tortured, fire-branded, and maimed. George Henry (1858-1943) was a Scottish painter, a prominent representative of the Glasgow School, a circle of influential artists and designers in the 1870s until 1910s.
