Advertising Poster Levy’s Jewish Rye Bread Child - Original vintage advertising poster - You don't have to be Jewish to love Levy's real Jewish Rye - featuring a little child holding a sandwich made with Jewish Rye bread. Levy's, founded in 1888 by Russian-Jewish immigrant Henry S. Levy in Brooklyn, became famous for its Jewish rye bread and the slogan ”You Don't Have to Be Jewish to Love Levy's.” After decades of family ownership, the bakery was sold in 1979 and relocated to Connecticut, where it continues under Arnold Bread, now part of Bimbo Bakeries USA.
