Levy in Brooklyn, became famous for its Jewish rye bread and the slogan ”You Don't Have to Be Jewish to Love Levy's.” After decades of family ownership, the bakery was sold in 1979 and relocated to Connecticut, where it continues under Arnold Bread, now part of Bimbo Bakeries USA.
