Advertising Poster De Bijenkorf Store Netherlands Horse - Original vintage advertising poster for De Bijenkorf department store featuring an illustration of a white horse with red, green and blue pins holding it''s body parts together set over a purple background, with a stamp below that reads in Dutch Hofleverancier Van Sint Nicolaas / Purveyor to the Royal Household of Saint Nicholas, a slogan used as a marketing term, which first appeared on their Sinterklaas posters in 1954 and referred to the department store as the central point for gifts for the Sinterklaas celebration on 5 December. Printed by Steendrukkerij De Jong & Co. Fair condition, tears, creasing, staining, several paper losses, foxing.
