Advertising Poster Furstenberg Brewery Danubia Beer Pilsener - Original antique drink advertising poster for the Furstenberg Brewery / Furstlich Furstenbergische Brauerei in Donaueschingen, Germany. This remarkably detailed Belle Epoque lithograph from the late 19th century celebrates the global reach of the brewery's ”Danubia” export beer. The complex composition is divided into several illustrative vignettes. At the top left, a woman in traditional Black Forest attire raises a foaming glass of beer next to a large wooden barrel. The central text highlights the brewery's success in exporting to Brazil and England (Export nach Brasilien und England). A red star emblem at the right features the ”Danubia Export Bier” branding. The bottom portion of the poster features an architectural view of the extensive brewery complex in Donaueschingen as it appeared in the late 1800s, alongside the princely House of Furstenberg coat of arms. Furstenberg is a historic German brewery located in Donaueschingen in the Black Forest, with roots in 1283. While primarily known for its Premium Pilsener, the brewery has a long history of producing specialised beers, including the historically significant Danubia.
