Advertising Poster Pustertal Brickworks Ziegelwerke Factory Olang Schabs - Original antique advertising poster for the Vereinigte Pustertaler Ziegelwerke / United Pustertal Brickworks, a prominent industrial concern in the Tyrol region with facilities in Olang and Schabs. This remarkably detailed and large-format lithograph serves as a dual industrial portrait, showcasing the ”modernist-equipped” factories that utilised electric operation, a significant technological advancement for the era. The design is divided into two primary illustrative panels set against the dramatic, snow-capped backdrop of the Dolomites. The upper panel depicts the extensive Ziegelwerk Olang, complete with its prominent smoking chimney and railway system for transporting materials. The lower, inset panel shows the Ziegelwerk Schabs, illustrating the large-scale outdoor drying racks and the industrial scale of production. Flanking the central illustrations are detailed style renderings of the company’s product line, including various types of roofing tiles / Dachziegel, facing bricks / Fassonsteine, and wall bricks / Mauersteine, such as the Biber-Firstziegel and Falz-Ziegel. The bold typography at the top and bottom provides business details, including their impressive annual production of 7 million units and their affiliations with the Brixener Bank in Bruneck and Brixen.
