Advertising Poster Van Hyfte Gent Electric Piano Orchestrion Music - Original vintage advertising poster for electric pianos and orchestrion music machines sold by Van Hyfte in Ghent Belgium featuring an upright piano with a musical cylinder roll below the J Van Hyfte Gent company name inside a circle in the centre surrounded by images of couples in fashionable 1920s dresses and smart suits dancing against the green background, the bold black text above detailing the locations and telephone numbers of the company's warehouses and shops with Van Hyfte in stylised lettering below. Founded by Bruno van Hyfte in 1835, the Van Hyfte company was taken over by his nephew Justin van Hyfte from 1906-1935 then by Carlos van Hyfte from 1936-1972 when the factory was permanently closed.
