Scarce Swiss Model 1878 Cavalry Revolver - SN 4333 is marked on the barrel, frame and cylinder. The 4.5” octagon barrel with a good bore and strong rifling, the 10.4 mm CF cal. The solid frame marked ”Waffenfabrik Bern” on the left side, a hand operated rod ejection. The pistol retains most of its original military blue finish. The checkered composition grips, with the Swiss cross on the left. Bern circa 1880, overall length is approx. 11.5”. About 6,000 were made. Condition 2
