Miniature of a Percussion Pistol Stored in a Box in the Form of a Book - Brass cylindrical barrel of 4,5 mm calibre follows the box-shaped brass percussion lock decorated with trophy engraving. Remnants of gilding on the lock and on the barrel. Ivory handle. Probably England or France around 1840, length 8,8 cm. Housed in a book-form case lined in purple velvet and covered in leather with pressed gilt decoration, the front with a monogram ligature under an English count's crown. Dimensions 12 x 2 x 8 cm.
