Pair of Flintlock Holster Pistols - Cylindrical barrels of 17 mm calibre with top rib, engraved with ornamental and figural decoration against a scratched background, cut in iron in the area of the breech blocks. Engraved flintlocks with brass lock plates, pierced and engraved lock counter-plates in gilt brass. Full stocks made of walnut, embossed and engraved gilt brass furniture. Probably Austria, 1st half of the 18th century, length of both 55 cm. Gilding worn. Condition 2+
