Percussion Double Barelled Shotgun by Antonín Hackenberger, Prague - Side by side cylindrical smoothbore barrels of 16 mm calibre marked above the chambers ”A. Hackenberger/ in Prag”. On the midrib a bead front sight, simple engraving in the chamber area and on the tongue of the breech block. The engraved percussion locks of Empire form are signed ‘Hackenberger/in Prag’. The full stock is made of nicely figured carved walnut with carvings and checkering (minor damage). Engraved steel furniture, wooden ramrod with brass tip. One stud missing. Original belt. Prague around 1830, length 107 cm. Antonín Hackenberger came from Moravská Třebová, married in 1811, in 1812 he took over the workshop from Václav Grünberger.
