Wheellock Rifle - Sporting rifle built on an earlier octagonal barrel in calibre 16 mm, swamped towards the muzzle,fitted with brass dovetail fore-sight andiron back-sight, rifled with twelve shallow grooves and marked over the breech by ”A K” (probably Augustinus Kotter) and with struck marks at the barrel roots. Decorated with engraved scrolls on both ends. Engraved flat lock with external wheel and sliding pan-cover struck with maker's mark. Walnut full stock with iron furniture. Patchbox with sliding cover, iron fingered trigger guard. Germany circa 1660, length 129,5 cm. One lock screw missing, butt worm damaged. Condition 2
