A Luxury Hunting Fang, Tula - A slightly curved blade with a fuller on both sides, a dorsal point and a back edge near the point. In the upper third there is an ornamental engraved decoration and two portraits in low relief, probably Catherine II the Great and Tsar Paul I. The obverse is marked in Cyrillic ”Tula”. The hilt is made of chiseled brass gilded in fire, a guard plate in the form of an eagle, quillons with a zoomorphic endings. The pommel is in the form of an eagle's head, a smooth handle made of horn. The scabbard is made of embossed leather, the scabbard fittings are made of embossed gilded brass, the original side knife. Russia, Tula, last third of the 18th century, length 58 cm. Condition 2+
