Russian Soviet Model 1927 Shashka with White Metal Pommel - Slightly curved single edged blade with fullers on both sides has manufacturer’s inspection marks and is stamped ”ZIZ” (Zlatoust factory mark) and dated 1935. Pommel made from white metal with ”CCCP”, carved wood handle. Wooden scabbard is covered with black paint, brass scabbard mounts with loose suspension ring. Soviet Russia, 1935, length 98 cm.
