A Sabre for Grenadiers of a Cuirassier Regiments - Broad blade with a wide fuller reaching almost to the point of the back, back edge approx. 18 cm long. Etched decoration at the base on both sides (sun, crescent moon, stars and trophies). Brass hilt, a ”stirrup” style cross guard, quillons ending in an olive, side guard with shell guard and thumb ring, full grip cap, the grip wood covered with black leather, attached with a brass wire.
