Huge sword in the shape of an ”ox tongue” - Double-edged blade, 17 cm wide at the top, etched on both sides, with figural and floral decoration on one side and a knight kneeling before the crucified Christ and the inscription ”SPES M(E)A DEUS” on the other. Between the letters M and A is the stamped mark of the swordsmith. Straight quillons ending in olives, two short arms separating from the guard and curving towards the blade. Wooden handle, octagonal pommel. Probably Austria or Italy, 19th century or older, length 137 cm. An almost identical sword is located at Žleby Castle.
