A Long Flintlock Pistol by Caspar Neuman - Heavy Damascus barrel with smooth bore in 15 mm calibre and silver front sight. The top of the barrel is richly inlaid with silver ornamental decoration and with a struck maker´s mark in Arabic. The flintlock with a domed lockplate is signed ”Caspar Neuman A Prespurg”. The walnut full stock with smooth brass furniture. Wooden ramrod with bone tip. Austria circa 1720, length 50.5 cms. Caspar (Gaspar) Neuman became a master in Bratislava (Pressburg) in 1680.
