Typical blank right receiver, the left side of the receiver is marked with Birmingham proof and ”THE BRAENDLIN ARMOURY Co.”, and the top of the barrel knoxform has the Braendlin Armory logo. Walnut shaft repeatedly repaired, original sling swivels and cleaning rod. British, probably Afhghanisan contract, made circa 1885 with a production run between 1871 and 1889. Length 95.5 cm.
