Firefighter officer's Sword - Heavy nickel-plated (rubbed, pitted) single-edged blade with sawback, fullered on both sides, gold-plated brass hilt,, guard plate with firefighter helmet and crossed axes in a laurel wreath, crossguard with relief floral decoration, pommel in the shape of a firefighter helmet, wooden grip, blackened. Black leather-covered wooden scabbard (leather damaged) with two gilt brass fittings of a chape and locket, these are also richly decorated with fire department motifs, among other things.
