Mexican Model 1822/61 Light Cavalry Sabre - Slightly curved, single-edged blade having wide and narrow fullers.The ricasso is marked “LIBERTAD” inside a Phrygian cap with “R.M.” underneath. The other side is trademarked with a pair of squirrels ”( Carl Eickhorn) with “R&B” underneath. The brass hilt, the leather grip with braided wire wrap (slightly loose). The steel scabbard with the suspension ring. Mexico, 2nd half of the 19th century, length 102 cm. Condition 2
