Austrian Infantry NCO sabre 1776-1777 - Slightly curved blade with back groove and back point, back edge approx. 15 cm long. Remnants of etched decoration in the upper quarter. Brass knuckle-bow hilt with remnants of gilding, the back of the grip with a pommel cap in the shape of a lion's head. Wooden grip covered with leather and wrapped with twisted brass wire. Leather-covered wooden scabbard, smooth brass mountings, suspension hook. Condition 2+
