Austro-Hungarian Officer's Dress Sword M 1849 - Straight single edged blade fullered on both sides; gilded brass stirrup hilt with a lion’s head pommel; snake-shaped guard adorned with oak leaves; arched guard plate without the double-headed eagle (missing); mother-of-pearl grip scales; leather scabbard with brass fitting. Austria, second half of the 19th century, total length approx. 89 cm. Signs of age, blade stained, scabbard damaged. Condition 3
