A Cased Pair of Percussion Pistols by Houllier Blanchard - Octagonal barrels of rosette damascus in 14 mm caliber are fitted with hair rifling, steel sights and tangs with scroll engraving. The matching decorated percussion locks bear the signature “Fni. P. Houllier Blanchard Bté a Paris”. Walnut stocks with fluted grips. Steel mountings with en suite engraved decoration. France, Paris around 1850, length of each pistol 40 cm. The pistols are stored in the original wooden case covered with green velvet. Together with all accessories: ramrods, bullet mold, replacement nipples, screwdriver, powder flask, oil flask and primer box. Dimensions (the case) 45 x 7.5 x 27 cm.
