Caviar bowl, Moscow, 1892 - Silver caviar jar made in the form of a rustic basket with a lid, imitating relief weaving of bast. The jar is decorated with a trompe l`oeil, made in the form of a woven napkin tied with a woven rope. The napkin is decorated with a relief geometric pattern imitating Russian-style embroidery on fabric. The edges of the napkin are decorated with fringe. Silver, stamping, embossing, chasing, engraving. Russian Empire, Moscow. 1892.
