Bezalel Jerusalem, Rare Silver Frame Designed by Ze'ev Raban - Hand-hammered silver frame, designed by Ze'ev Raban and likely also crafted by him. The frame is stamped on its base ”Bezalel Jerusalem”, but on the front it reads ”Israel”, suggesting a later period than the 1920s, most likely the 1940s–1950s. Inside the frame is a photograph of a young girl dated January 6, 1945. The design of the frame precisely matches one of the pages from ”Song of Songs” designed by Raban. ”Industrial Art Studio” (Beit Avodah Le'Amanut Industrialit), managed by Raban, was active until the 1960s. This piece is likely a work by Raban created around the years of the establishment of the State of Israel.
