Anatoli Lvovich Kaplan (Russian, Israeli, 1903-1980) original color lithograph on paper, the fourth illustration for the book Song of Songs (in Russian and Hebrew) Sholem Aleichem. Signed in pencil, lower right. Framed. Throughout his life, Anatoly Kaplan's work was closely associated with Jewish folklore and Yiddish literature; he illustrated the works of a number of Jewish writers, including the classics of Jewish literature, as well as Jewish folk songs.
