GERMAN PEWTER & PORCELAIN BEER STEIN TANKARD MUG
A traditional German lidded porcelain and pewter beer stein tankard mug. The exterior is decorated with several hand-painted scenes with soldiers and an image of a coat of arms. The compositions are accompanied by short descriptions in German. The lid is hinged, made of tin and attached to the handle with a hinge. The top of the lid is decorated with a three-dimensional image of a soldier saluting with a flask with a pennant. The finger-rest on the lid is made in the form of a Prussian eagle with wings wide open. The lid is adorned with relief figurines with engraving in German.
