AMERICAN OHIO BLUE DECORATED STONEWARE WATER JUG
An antique early American Ohio wheel-thrown body-shaped stoneware water or juice jug with a handle. The jug is adorned with a hand-painted cobalt-blue motif. There is a cork stopper on the top. The jug has a great primitive look and folksy appeal, making it a wonderful addition to any collection of American folk art pottery, early stoneware, or country antiques. Circa: 1850s-1880s.
