RUSSIAN GICLEE PRINT ON CANVAS BY LEONID PURYGIN
Leonid Purygin, Russian Soviet, 1951 to 1995, giclee print on canvas depicting a Neo primitivist portrait, 1992. Signed with initials and dated in the print lower right. Framed. Leonid Purygin was a Russian Neo primitivist artist. He relies on the language of icon painting and the artists of the Northern Renaissance, Jan Van Eyck, Bosch, use the techniques of folk crafts, sometimes referring to the polyptych format.
