Sergei Sorokin, Russian Soviet, born 1950, oil painting on canvas, Ninth Day, 1990 to 1991. Signed and dated 1990 lower left. Additionally signed, titled, dated 1991, and inscribed, Nizhny Novgorod, on the back. Framed. An original paper label of Tabakman Gallery on the back. Sergei Sorokin is a Russian Nonconformist artist, author of caricature and satirical works devoted to folk life. Peoples Artist of Russia. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia. Regular exhibitor at the Museum of Modern Art in Jersey City, USA. One of a kind artwork.
