Isidore Jules Bonheur, an antique 19th century cast bronze sculpture depicting a cow standing in the meadow, signed to the base: I. Bonheur. Isidore Jules Bonheur, French, 1827 to 1901, is best known as one of the 19th century's most distinguished French animalier sculptors. Bonheur began his career as an artist working with his elder sister Rosa Bonheur in the studio of their father, drawing instructor Raymond Bonheur.
