Eduard Steinberg, gouache on canvas painting depicting two figures, 1975. Signed lower left and dated. Additionally signed on verso on a paper. Eduard Arkadevich Steinberg, Russian, 1937 to 2012, was a painter, philosopher and activist. In the 1960s and the 1970s, Steinberg participated in the dissident movement in the USSR.
