ANTIQUE CHINESE JADE BI DISC WITH CARVED ORNAMENT
An antique late 19th - early 20th century Chinese bi, a flat jade disc with a circular hole in the centre. Traditionally, jade discs were used as gifts in court ceremonies. The bi symbolizes heaven or sun. The disc is covered with a geometrical ornamental carving belonging to the late period of the Qing dynasty. Oriental Collectables, Decor Items And Gemstones.
