ANTIQUE COLUMBIAN EXPOSITION PRINTS GEORGE BARRIE
George Barrie, three original 1893 and 1894 photoengravings after the paintings titled The Shepherdess by Charles Sprague Pearce, The Puritan Girl by Douglas Volk, and The Singing Lesson by Walter Gay. All exhibited at the Worlds Columbian Exposition, entitled in pencil. From 1893 to 1895 the Philadelphia printer and publisher, George Barrie, was at work upon a large and lavish series of original engravings detailing exhibits of the fine art from participating countries at the exposition.
