An antique late 19th century oil on canvas painting depicting a young woman with a child after the painting Going to the Bath by William-Adolphe Bouguereau, French, 1825 to 1905. Unsigned. Housed in a wooden frame. William-Adolphe Bouguereau was a French academic painter. In his realistic genre paintings he used mythological themes, making modern interpretations of classical subjects, with an emphasis on the female human body.
