An antique Russian Orthodox hand painted icon of the Annunciation, executed in tempera on wood. The scene represents the Archangel Gabriel and the young Virgin Mary while, at the top, the blessing Father. Titled lower center. Framed. In the box under glass. Circa the mid 19th century.
Dimensions: 13 3/4 x 12 1/4 x 3 in. All measurements are approximate.
