ANTIQUE 19 C. GERMAN MEISSEN PORCELAIN MANTEL SET
A very fine and highly collectible German Rococo three piece mantel set comprising a mantel clock and a pair of candelabra, each for two candles, made by the Meissen porcelain factory. All three pieces are decorated with floral and bronze branches, one candelabra features a figure of a gentleman, the other features a figure of a young lady. The mantel clock which is to be the central part of the mantel set, depicts this gentleman and a lady as a couple. Signed to the porcelain dials face: Leroy a Paris and numbered verso: 16445. Neatly hand painted and finely detailed. Each piece bears a Meissen factory crossed swords mark in blue ink underglaze.
