Vladimir Nikolaevich Nemukhin, Russian, Soviet, 1925 to 2016, color pencil on paper drawing depicting a Composition with a sitting person. Signed in Cyrillic and dated 1989. Vladimir Nikolaevich Nemukhin was one of the most renowned Russian post war modernists, part of the so-called Sixties generation. In Soviet times he and his peers worked in opposition to the official style of Socialist Realism and their art came to be known as underground art or Nonconformism. One of a kind artwork.
