RUSSIAN GILT SILVER ENAMEL PILL BOX WITH PAINTING
A Russian gilt silver pill box decorated throughout with enamel scrolling foliate patterns and two beaded rims manufactured in the cloisonne technique. A hinged lid features a painting which depicts a view of the Novodevichy Convent, also known as Bogoroditse-Smolensky Monastery. Gold wash inside. Hallmarked with the manufacturer and 88 Russian silver proof marks. Weight: 62 g. Russian Silver Trinket Boxes For Collectors.
