ANTIQUE MEIJI ERA JAPANESE CLOISONNE ENAMEL VASE
An antique Japanese cast brass bud vase featuring an ovoid body and a narrow neck slightly expanding to the rim. The surfase is enameled with highly detailed polychrome medallions depicting Phoenix birds and dragons surrounded by floral, foliage and geometrical motifs made using the Cloisonne technique on a glossy black ground.
