ANTIQUE MEIJI ERA JAPANESE CLOISONNE ENAMEL VASES
A pair of miniature Meiji era Japanese vases of an ovoid form tapering to the bottom and bearing a short narrow neck. Made of brass, the surface is enameled with beautifully detailed polychrome designs depicting wisteria flowers, chrysanthemums, plum flowers and other traditional motifs on a black ground. One of the vases bears a hieroglyphic mark on the bottom. Dated from the late 19th to the early 20th century. Antique and Vintage Asian Collectibles, Oriental Enamel Vases, Home Decor And Gifts.
