FRENCH HAND COLORED LITHOGRAPH BY MARC CHAGALL
Marc Chagall, Russian, French, 1887 to 1985, hand colored lithograph on paper depicting a scene with a couple after the original exhibition poster, Vence City of Arts and Flowers, Easter, 1954. Signed and dated 1954 lower right. Framed. Mark Zakharovich Chagall is a Russian and French artist of Jewish origin. In addition to graphics and painting, he was also engaged in scenography, wrote poetry in Yiddish. One of the most famous representatives of the artistic avant garde of the 20th century.
